Why is Puppy School Important?

Puppy school is an essential aspect of raising a well-behaved and socially adjusted dog. During puppy school, your furry friend will learn basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, and come. These commands are not only important for their safety but also for their overall well-being. By instilling these commands early on, you will have better control over your dog, making walks and other outings more enjoyable for both of you.

Moreover, puppy school is a great opportunity for your puppy to interact with other dogs and learn appropriate social behavior. Socialization is crucial in preventing behavioral issues such as aggression and anxiety later in life. Through supervised play sessions and controlled interactions, our experienced trainers will ensure that your puppy learns how to communicate and interact with other dogs in a positive and non-threatening manner. This will help them become well-adjusted and confident dogs in the future.

Socialising Your Puppy

Puppy preschool will also give your furbaby the social experience to ensure they are comfortable in the company of other dogs. To ensure they have an outside space to learn and play in, as well as inside our clinic we will be spending some time during these classes in the back of Leanne's Passion Pet Salon.

Come to the front door of the vet clinic (26 Carnation Street Greystanes) before the start of class, and I will be there to welcome you in.

COST: The classes will cost a total of $240, which includes a goodie bag containing flea and heartworm treatment. This can be paid by cash or eftpos, just before the first class.

Day: Saturday Afternoon

The first and second class will be an hour and a half in length, from
2:30 - 4pm.

The final class is one hour in length from
2:30 – 3:30PM.

My name is Taye, the puppy pre school instructor and dog trainer at Greystanes Vet Clinic. I'm very excited to be running the puppy preschool classes for Greystanes Vet Clinic.

Between 6-16 weeks is a crucial age for your puppy to join classes. During this time, they are learning about their environment and developing social skills. Whether they are positive or negative, any experiences in this time may have a lasting effect throughout their life - this is where puppy preschool comes in!
